DELIVERY INFORMATION

Delivery
The Seller's policy is to despatch goods to meet the timeframe stated for delivery. Times quoted are in good faith but shall not be binding. The Seller can accept no responsibility for transport delays causing late delivery.

Salons Direct is not liable for delayed, missing, or damaged parcels/contents if a delivery signature has not been obtained where the parcel has been left in a designated safe place at your request.  If you choose to have your order delivered to a location, you deem as ‘safe’ then the liability transfers to you.

Please note, delivery addresses cannot be changed on an order by a customer once payment has been taken.  If you wish to make amendments to your delivery once an order has been made, please speak to a member of our Customer Service Team.
 

Free standard delivery over £30:
Orders must be over £30 (inc VAT and placed online) to qualify for free standard delivery, otherwise £4.95 (inc VAT) is the standard delivery charge to most parts of mainland UK. Only valid on orders within mainland UK and excludes Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, Offshore Islands, Highlands, Scottish Islands and certain areas of the UK may vary according to the size and weight of the parcel. Does not apply to orders where an offer code has been used, unless stated otherwise. If orders placed for next day delivery, £6.95 (inc VAT) are received, completed and payment has been taken before 4pm GMT between Monday and Thursday, we will deliver the next working day. Next day delivery is available to most parts of mainland UK only and only applies to items that are in stock.

 

Next Day Delivery
£6.95 (inc VAT) is the charge for next working day delivery. If orders are received, fully completed and payment taken before 4pm GMT between Monday to Thursday, we aim to deliver them the next working day. Dispatch times can vary depending on stock availability and any guarantees made as to delivery times are subject to any delays that can result from transport delays or force majeure, for which we will not be held responsible. The Seller can accept no responsibility for transport delays causing late delivery.

Next day delivery only applies to items that are in stock. Next day delivery is only available to mainland UK. Some areas of the UK cannot receive Next Day Delivery - contact Customer Services for more information. Orders placed for next day delivery the day before a bank holiday will receive their order on the next working day. Please note, we cannot guarantee Next Day Delivery following a Bank Holiday Weekend.
 

Customs For Overseas Orders
When ordering goods from Salons Direct Limited for delivery outside the United Kingdom you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the goods reach the specified destination. Any additional charges for Customs clearance must be paid by you; Salons Direct Limited has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. If you are ordering goods from outside the United Kingdom, it is your responsibility to comply with all the laws and regulations in the country in which you are receiving the goods.

If you refuse to pay the charges levied by customs and excise, or the delivery is unsuccessful, and the goods are returned to us then you will be liable for the return shipment fees and these will be deducted from any refund due.  As from 1st January 2021 there may be additional customs fees to pay for customers within the EU.  These fees are levied by your local customs and must be paid directly to them for your goods to be released.

Please note all electrical items are supplied, as standard, with a UK 3 pin plug.
 

Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order prior to delivery you must contact the Customer Service Department on 0151 305 1573. Cancellation after despatch cannot be accepted.
